Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) College was established in 1998 as the first IT College of Nepal. Located in Maitidevi, Kathmandu, the LBEF premises spread over an area of 75,000 square feet of land in six blocks. Being a part of the LBEF Group of Institutions, LBEF is a non-governmental and non-profit organization. Since its commencement, LBEF has experienced stable growth, which is why it stands as one of the top-notch colleges in Nepal. To date, LBEF has trained thousands of students. More than 1,000 students are currently studying here, and over 13,000 students have graduated from LBEF.
Having a strong academic collaboration with the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), LBEF is approved by the Ministry of Education, Nepal and recognized by Tribhuvan University to conduct various Bachelor and Master-level courses. LBEF has a deep-rooted tradition of excellence across a wide range of academic disciplines. The academic disciplines in LBEF lead students to careers as IT experts, managers, bankers, leaders, and entrepreneurs in their areas of interest.
